The coffee then runs into a heated flask The advantage is that it&#8217;s easy, put coffee in the filter basket and add water. The problem is that the plastic can be recycled and then contaminate the coffee. It&#8217;s also difficult to keep the water path completely clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"503\" height=\"281\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-6.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-152\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-6.png 503w, https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-6-300x168.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 503px) 100vw, 503px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this very efficient hot water flask I can make coffee easily using battery power. I admit that it is a little more complicated than the coffee maker. But making coffee in a French press is pretty easy and tastes better than the coffee maker version. The heated cup has a large battery that&#8217;s charged with a USB-C power supply. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"313\" height=\"292\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-11.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-157\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-11.png 313w, https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-11-300x280.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 313px) 100vw, 313px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The battery can keep the coffee at a nice 142 Degrees almost all day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"324\" height=\"249\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-7.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-153\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-7.png 324w, https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-7-300x231.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 324px) 100vw, 324px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To reduce the sediment in the coffee I actually use a paper filter in the French press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"489\" height=\"349\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-155\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-9.png 489w, https:\/\/mavogt.online\/newwebsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-9-300x214.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 489px) 100vw, 489px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The three $200 heated cups come with the hardware to make the coffee in them.
